Our dates for our Alachua County Youth fair is March 26-30, 2010.  The Market Steer weigh in is Oct. 3 at , there is no min. wt. however we recommend they weigh about 600 lbs.  Min. wt in March is 975lbs.  For the feeder steers weigh in will be Dec. 5th , again no min, but need to weigh about 500lbs., to be 650-800 at fair.  Heifers are classed by age for our show, and must be at least 6 mos of age by show date.  We also have a bull show, must be purebred and 6 mos of age as well at show.  Deadline for heifer entry is Jan. 15th.  I am working on all the rule changes now and will have this information posted in the next couple of weeks.
